Another lightweight scrap has been booked for Brave 9 “The Kingdom Of Champions”.
Ahmed Amir (6-1 MMA, 2-0 Brave) and Erik Carlsson (6-2 MMA, 1-1 Brave) have agreed to fight, ArabsMMA confirmed the bout after being first reported by MMAMADHOUSE.com.
Brave 9 takes place Nov. 17 at Khalifa Sports City Arena, Bahrain. The night’s main event features a title fight between current champion Elias Boudegzdame vs. Lucas ‘Mineiro’ Martins.
Amir, is an Egyptian fighter who brings a six-fight winning streak to the cage following back-to-back stoppage wins under Brave CF over Richie ‘Boogyman’ Martinez and Kevin Koldobskey. The Martinez win shocked the world and turned heads towards the previously unknown Amir. His second flawless performance cemented him as a power to reckon when he put SBG Ireland’s Koldobskey to sleep in Abu Dhabi.
Carlsson will fight for the third time under Brave CF. He came short in his promotional debut as a welterweight when he lost against Jarrah Al Silawi. He then faced Gadzhimusa Gadzhiev at Brave CF 6 in Kazakhstan, marking his first win in the promotion and in the lightweight division.
