The AUFC “Arabic Ultimate Fighting Championship” promotion has its 5th installment confirmed for Friday the 16th of October at the AUFC academy in Cairo. The event will be headlined by a welterweight title fight and a featherweight title fight that have Egypt’s “Fights of the Year” potential written all over them.
Another big fight on the main card is the battle between Mahmoud Fawaz and Eslam Abdel Mineim. This matchup was actually requested by Eslam himself who seeks revenge for the defeat of Amir Nour at AUFC 4. Eslam claims that he deserves to be ahead of Fawaz in the future title chase at lightweight, however “The Octopus” himself does not believe that Eslam is even worthy of this fight!
Mahmoud “The Octopus” Fawaz:
“There is no way that Eslam is champion material. He barely beat Mahmoud Gamal and I can tell you that I will finish him in the first round with ease”.
