BAHRAIN – BRAVE COMBAT FEDERATION® (bravefights.com) announced the signing of yet another young brazilian prospect and prolific featherweight (145 pounds) MMA fighter Luan “Miau” Santiago Carvalho (10-2) to a multi-fight agreement.
The promotional debut of the 22-year-old Carvalho of Salvador, Bahia via Brazil will be at Brave 3 which is taking place in Curitiba, Brazil this March. His opponent will be announced shortly.
“Brazil has been incredible to us with those young and full of knockout power fighters.I am excited to welcome Luan Santiago Carvalho to our roster and see him perform,” said Brave Combat Federation President Mohamed Shahid. “With the addition of Luan, our featherweight division is stronger than ever, and I think he will provide Brave Combat Federation fans with a number of memorable encounters in the cage and, perhaps make a run at our featherweight world championship.”
Luan has never been stopped in a Mixed Martial Arts bout. He is in the midst of a five fight win streak that includes a recent TKO win over Irving Romero Machado, one of two fighter who had previously beaten Luan under MMA rules. Eight of Luan’s ten career MMA wins have come by way of knockout, including six inside the first round of action.
Luan is the third major signing for the promotion within the last few weeks. Earlier this month, Brave inked an exceptional 22 year old fight, Julio César Neves to a deal.
