Imad Hoayek, the 2017 IMMAF Asian Open Championships gold medalist, is confident to put up a good show at 2017 IMMAF World Championships in Bahrain and bring home gold.
His hunger for success is insatiable and his motivation remains strong. A young MMA talent, Hoayek is no stranger to the IMMAF cages. He has been part of the world pro’s since 2014, earned bronze at the European Championships, and gold at this year’s Asia Open Championships. He craves for more success and many more medals.
“I fight for my family and for my country,” he said. “I will return with a gold medal from the 2017 IMMAF’s in Bahrain. That is my goal.”
Hoayek created history being the first Lebanese to step on the 1st place podium at the Asia Open Championships hosted by Singapore when he overcome a stiff challenger. The opponent that he beat in the finales was the same fighter that won gold at the European Championships. His triumph brought tremendous joy to people of his hometown Lebanon.
As Bahrain sets the stage to make history hosting the IMMAF World Championships, Imad Hoayek looks to impress and make his country proud once again.
