Iraq’s homegrown Mixed Martial Arts promotion, Iraqi Combat Fighting Championship, is set to return to action this September! The championship’s 9th settlement is booked for the 14th of September in Erbil, and features Iraq’s best talents alongside some distinguished regional fighters. ICFC 9 will see an action packed night with handpicked names from Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, and needless to say, Iraq.
Fighting for the ICFC Lightweight title are Iraq’s own Hussein Fakher vs. Lebanon’s Yousef Ghrairi. Ghrairi holds the EFC lightweight belt and is also vying for the Cedar FC lightweight title on September 4.
The full-hearted Ghrairi is targetting another title this September, and nothing stands in his way. Let’s pray Ghrairi is in good fighting condition after his CFC battle. Who knows, he might surprisingly end up with two titles instead of one, coming into this fight.
His opponent Hussein Fakher (2-2) is known for his crisp striking. He holds 2 wins and 1 loss under the ICFC promotion, with his latest cage appreance being at Desert Force 22 against Brazilian opponent Paulo Henrique.

Having been part of Al Academiya Season 1 cast, and then moving on to fight as a professional in ICFC and Desert Force promotions, Saeb will take on Egypt’s Atef Abdul Kawy in a welterweight battle.
The fight night also features familiar names, the likes Iraq’s Hussein Salem and Syrian Maher Salloum.
