After almost 3 years of waiting, Jarrah El-Silawi was finally able to get his rematch against Carl Booth at Brave 9: The Kingdom of Champions in Bahrain.

Unlike their first meeting, which left a deep scar in the heart and mind of El-Silawi, the second had an entirely different taste for the welterweight contender. Having previously suffered a quick first round KO loss to Booth at Cage Warriors 61, El-Silawi was able to get his revenge almost 3 years afterwards by defeating his adversary via unanimous decision at Friday’s Brave 9 Kingdom Of Champions.

Pushing his record to an impressive 10-2, an ecstatic El-Silawi celebrated his victory by jumping out of the Brave Combat Federation cage and asking the main man behind the promotion, Sheikh Khalid Bin Hamad to bring Brave Combat Federation to his (El-Silawi’s) home country of Jordan.

Without hesitation, HH Sheikh Khalid instantly accepted El-Silawi’s request and promised that Brave Combat Federation will have hold an already scheduled event in Jordan sometime in early 2018.

Jarrah Al Selawi:

“I had this in mind before entering the fight. I wanted to settle the scores with Booth, make a statement and request this favor from Sheikh Khalid.”

“The promotion is coming to Jordan early next year.”

Jordan was once, not too long ago, the Arab capital of mixed martial arts. Having been the home of Desert Force, a Mixed Martial Arts promotion that was certainly the biggest in the area, it’s definitely great news that an international MMA promotion as big as Brave CF is coming to Jordan soon.

Such a move will bring back a lot of life to the combat scene in the Jordan, as well as neighboring Arab countries.
