Brazilian Leonardo Mafra Texeira has fought four times at the UFC and boasts a professional record of 13 wins and 4 losses, 8 of which by way of knockout. Before his Ulitmate Fighting Championship debut, Leonardo Mafra appeared on the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil.
Speaking ahead of fight night, Fakhreddine made it clear he felt ready for the challenge ahead:
“Brave CF informed me that I will be facing a UFC fighter, and I agreed to take the fight without second thought.”
After a majestic Brave CF debut in March which followed a lengthy hiatus, a confident Fakhreddine looks hungry to get back to the cage and gulp down one fight after the other. Currently riding a five-fight winning streak, Fakhreddine is a punishing striker with blistering power and a smasher-like approach inside the cage.
A victory over a profile such as Texeira will not only grant Fakhreddine a definite championship shot, but will enforce his status as an undisputed “top welterweight” in the promotion and in the Arab world.
Brave 6 takes place on the 29th of April in Almaty City in Kazakhstan for what will be its first ever event in Central Asia. The night is headlined by a lightweight showdown between Russia’s infamous Eldar Eldarov and Henrique “Rasputin” Gomes.
