Phoenix 4 Dubai will witness a battle between the Lebanese Mohammad “O Lutador” Karaki against the Egyptian Alaa “Thor” Mansour in Dubai.
Phoenix Fighting Championship announced the fight through social media networks today (Saturday, Oct.28). The middleweight bout will mark the promotional debut of both undefeated fighters on Friday December 22nd.
Mounir Lazzez vs. Christophe Van Dijck will headline the event at the Dubai World Trade Center in the United Arab Emirates.
What’s most interesting about this fight is that both these fighters are still undefeated in their professional careers and will be putting their perfect records on the line once they square off to face each other inside the Phoenix Fighting Championship cage in Dubai.
On one hand, the former Desert Force light-heavyweight and middle-weight champion, Mohammad Karaki, is considered one of the greatest middle eastern prospects joining the promotion with a sensational 7-0 career. The Brazilian Jiujitsu brown belt owns a clean record and multiple impressive performances, finishing 6 out of his 7 fights inside the first round. His most notable victories have come over the likes of Abdelali Aityachou, Feras Saada and the Egyptian beast Ibrahim El Sawi. A grappling force, especially in his BJJ and ground work, Karaki will most likely be looking to take Mansour to deep waters and finish the fight by way of TKO or submission.
Standing across from him is his Egyptian opponent who also holds an untainted professional record of 4 wins recorded wins. His most impressive performances came in his last two fights, walking away with back to back victories over Ahmed Shaker Qadah and a spectacular first round, 14 second KO finish over the Tunisian Abdul Rahman Dridi. The physically gifted Mansour will potentially attempt to overwhelm his opponent with a series of strikers that he hopes will be enough to stop the momentum of the undefeated Karaki.
This is one of the most important bouts on the Phoenix Fighting Championship fight card as it will create a frame for the middle-weight division. Stay tuned for the latest on Phoenix 4 Dubai.
