The Desert Force light heavyweight title won’t be vacant anymore come Desert Force 21.

Mostafa Rashed and Osama Alsaeidy, two of the top 205-pounders in the promotion who proved to be worthy with a clean record, will meet with the shield on the line at Desert Force 21. The event will take place on March 7 , 2016 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The fight will act as the co-main event of the card, headlined by a featherweight title fight pitting champion Aziz Julaidan against Hamza Kooheji.

The light heavyweight title was first raised by Team Shogun’s Mohamed Karaki at Desert Force Grand Prix Finals when he defeated Feras Saada. The latter then took the decision to drop down to middleweight, where he also moved up the rankings and dethroned the former middleweight champion Ibrahim Elsawi at Desert Force 19. On that day, he made history as the first Desert Force champion to hold two belts in different categories.

Born and raised in the Kingdom of KSA, Egyptian Mostafa Rashid (3-0 Desert Force) made his promotional debut back in December 2014 at Desert Force 14 (KSA) finishing Waleed Al Hassan with a first round TKO win. He also fought Nouredin Elzaar at Desert Force 16 finishing the fight inside 1 minute Via TKO strikes. Rashed’s latest appearance was the toughest as he battled Elias Baaklini in a fight that led the crowd on their feet in Beirut.

After a back and fourth intense battle in the opening stanza, Mostafa caught Baaklini with an armbar when Desert Force hit Lebanon for the first time.

Osama Alsaeidy (3-0 Desert Force) is currently riding a 3 fight winning streak, with all victories coming in the opening round. The Egyptian fighting out of Team Warlions Kuwait has beaten the likes of Dib Akil and Alaa Almasry. His most notable win came against Abdelali Aityachou at Desert Force 16 when he left the moroccan battered and bloodied in his promotional Debut.
