The addition of this bantamweight match-up just made Desert Force 20 under card unmissable.
Nawras Abzakh (2-0) will land in the UAE after almost 8 months since his latest fight to meet local Abdullah Albloushi (0-0) at Desert Force 20 in Dubai.
Headlined by a welterweight interim title rematch between former interim middleweight title holder Mohammad Fakhreddine and Jarrah El Selawi, Desert Force 20 will take place on January 25 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Abzakh, the circassian jordanian made his promotional debut at Desert Force 17 in May 2015 and submitted Abdel Ali Al Hariri with style in the first round. But he’s been on the sidelines since that fight, meaning when he steps in the cage against Abdulla Albloushi it will be almost 8 months between action. The Timour Narmouq-trained fighter has four out of 5 career wins by submission (amateur/pro), and is hungry to get his shot at the vacant bantamweight title. Originally a flyweight, Abzakh made it clear that he is ready to fight bigger opponents to reach his goal. A second win under the Desert Force promotion could very well land him a fight against George Barwadil. So where is Bardawil?
Abdulla Mohamed Ali (Al Bloushi) will get a home fight in his Desert Force professional debut. The Emirati took part of season 2 of Al Academiya where he knocked out Maher Saloum with a perfectly placed left hook in the elimination stage. He then packed his bags and left the show for no apparent reason. Since then, he has been training at team Nogueira with the likes of Desert Force fighter Ali Ahli before moving on to train at Al Nasr Sports Club Jiu Jitsu Team, one of the oldest sports clubs in United Arab Emirates.
