Phoenix 4’s Karaki: “Alaa Mansour is an easy fight”

Karaki Easy Work

Mohammad Karaki has made it clear, Mansour is not a threat!

Undefeated Mohammad “O Lutador” Karaki made some noise by appearing in his first ever “LIVE” broadcast on ArabsMMA social media.

In the broadcast, Karaki had a lot to discuss, especially about his upcoming fight against the Egyptian opponent, Alaa Mansour, whom he will face at Phoenix 4 that will take place on Dec. 22 in Dubai.

According to Karaki, Mansour has recently been working hard to earn a high profile fight. He is glad to give him his chance, but assures that he is now on much more elevated heights in his mixed martial arts style, maturity and experience.

“Alaa Mansour deserves to be fighting with a champion. He’s been performing well recently and has asked to fight me on multiple occasions. This time, I have a new and developed style that is much better than the one I had at Desert Force when I took both the middleweight and light heavyweight titles. I’ve been training hard, even though I haven’t fought that much recently.”

Though Mansour’s last bout ended in a very impressive 14 second KO victory over Abdul Rahman Dridi, avenging his previous exhibition match loss against him at Desert Force Al Academia, Mohammad Karaki doesn’t see Mansour’s level as a serious threat and believes that he has an easy fight awaiting him at Phoenix FC 4.

“In my opinion, my fight against Alaa mansour is an easy fight. I’m not flashing or being cocky, but for me that’s how it is. I’m training so hard. There are 2 months till the fight so we’ll see how things go at that point in time. It’s admirable that Mansour has a 14 second KO, but you can’t judge his ability based on that fight. He fought Dridi before and you can tell much more about both their levels in that previous fight.”

One other interesting comment that Karaki made while answering questions from the fans was about his formal rival, Ibrahim El Sawi. Though Karaki holds a win over El Sawi, he said that he was open for a rematch against the Egyptian beast who he thinks is a much more difficult match-up than Alaa Mansour. Still however, Mansour will be looking to shock the Arab fans on the 22nd of December in Dubai by ending Karaki’s undefeated reign. A task that is certainly much easier set than done.
