Phoenix Fighting Championship Announces “Phoenix 7” in Russia

[UPDATE] – Phoenix 6 event will be hosted in Dubai, UAE

Phoenix Fighting Championship officially announces plans to stage a mega Muay Thai event in Russia this coming April.

Even before the ink could dry after signing on Phoenix 4 in Dubai, Phoenix Fighting Championship officials have set the stage for what is being promoted as Russia’s biggest Muay Thai event to date.

Phoenix 6, Mockba, takes place in Moscow, Russia on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Luzhniki Stadium, and will feature some of Russia’s biggest names in Muay Thai.

With a seating capacity of 81,000 seats, the Luzhniki Stadium is famous for playing host to the 1980 Summer Olympics, and has been selected by the Russia 2018 FIFA World Cup bid as the venue for the world cup final, which will be held on July 15, 2018.

Speaking to ArabsMMA.com, Phoenix Fighting Championship President, Chahe Yerevanian revealed that “Phoenix 6: Russia Vs. The World” will see Russia’s best fighters compete against the best from around the world.

Chahe Yerevanian:

“Phoenix 6: Russia Vs. The World will be Russia’s biggest Muay Thai event in history. The night will include several title belts, in addition to WMC world title belts. ”

“Phoenix 6 will see a record number of fan attendance and the event, “Russia Vs. The World” will feature Russia’s biggest fighters competing against handpicked elites from around the world.”

Phoenix 6: Russia Vs. The World marks the promotion’s 6th event to date, and the 3rd outside of Beirut, as part of Phoenix Fighting Championship’s quest to go global.
