With five days until the second installment of Brave Combat Federation | Brave 2 “Dynasty” | , we approached SBG Ireland’s light heavyweight prospect Ben Forsyth for a quick thought on joining this truly global promotion.
The 2015 European IMMAF Gold Medalist views this move as the most logical at this time in his career and not many disagree. The IMMAF championships are perceived as the pinnacle of competition for aspiring amateur mixed martial artists and this man snatched gold after winning all three fights at the tournament. He then continued and made a successful pro debut and has never lost since.
“Singing with Brave was the most logical next step for me. I’m already a European champion so I figure it was time to start whooping the rest of the world.
Forsyth will take part in the first Light Heavyweight bout under Brave Combat Federation banner. He will face American Tyree Fortune, a highly decorated, explosive wrestler who was on the path to the 2016 Olympic Team before making the switch to Mixed Martial Arts. Since then he has been racking-up win-after-win in amateur fights and as we’ve seen many times, he’s finding the transition from wrestler to mixed martial artist a very successful one.
” I’m in the first light heavy weight fight yes, but regardless of weight classes, I will be the most skilled martial artist in the organisation full stop.”
Unique confidence is no stranger to the famous Irish Gym ( SBG ), and with it comes fighters that get results and back up what they claim. Will it be the case with this Irish prospect who is looking to make global noise?
Come December 2nd and we will find out at Khalifa Sports City, Bahrain what the ” SpiderMonkey” has to offer to the division!
