Title Fight Scrapped, Gadzhimusa Gaziev Vs Carl Booth To Headline Brave 2

Two welterweight wars will dominate the main event and co-main event of Brave 2: Dynasty following the postponement of the world title fight, due to injuries. As a result, the battle between the bangers, Gadzhimusa Gaziev Vs Carl Booth, has been elevated to the main event. This paves the way for the Dagestani or the British man to steal the limelight and make their presence known throughout the MMA world.

Both are riding winning streaks and are confident in their ability to knock their opponents unconscious, so someone likely going to sleep in this one.

The co-main event will be another mouth-watering welterweight contest, involving the undefeated Ottaman Azaitar and SBG Ireland’s Kevin Koldobsky.

Azaitar has finished all of his opponents, and looked unstoppable, but is yet to face a real test and “El General” from Argentina, fighting out of SBG Ireland, will give him that test. This fight will determine whether the Turkish/German beast can follow in his brother, Abu’s, footsteps and continue his dominant run. We’ve seen he can take punishment and survive heavy pressure, but Koldobsky will pose a whole new level of threat to his previous opponents.
Perhaps the winners of these two welterweight fights will cross paths in the near future, and could be in contention for the welterweight title when, indeed, the Brave team decide to make a title fight for this belt.

Before the main event and co-main event, there are a host of tantalizing bouts on the undercard featuring some of the world’s best mixed martial artists, and upcoming prospects.

UFC veteran Walel Watson’s fight with the fast-rising Elias Boudegzdame catches the eye as well as the undefeated Brazilian Alex “Leko” Da Silva, 17-0, putting his unblemished record on the line against AKA’s Daniel Swain, who’s intent on taking that O.

Elsewhere is the Brave debut for Jarrah Al Selawi, representing Lebanon who faces the highly-regarded Erik Calrsson from Sweden.

And don’t forget Brave’s first ever light-heavyweight contest, featuring the highly decorated amateurs, who are undefeated in their professional careers, Tyree Fortune and Ben Forsyth.

Brave takes place at Khalifa Sports City in Isa, Bahrain and tickets are on sale at www.bravefights.com and at all SADAD outlets throughout Bahrain.
