Headlined by heated rivalry between Kuwait’s Abdullah AlBousheri and Egypt’s Ramadan Noaman, WAWAN MMA Fight Night couldn’t ask for a better way to bring the action to their MMA event in Kuwait. The show was part of WAWAN sports night, a multi-martial art expo that took place in Kuwait on Friday May 11, 2018 at the Exhibition Ground – Hall 8.
The finishes were plenty on the WAWAN MMA fight card, and the night was topped with Abdullah Al Bousheiri delivering a first round knockout to end a heated battle with Ramadan Noaman.
In the co-main event, MMA veteran Paulo Filho made an unexpected come back after a lengthy 4 years hiatus to submit Egypt’s Mohammed Ashraf in the first stanza. Filho is the last WEC Middleweight Champion, and also competed in PRIDE, DREAM, Pancrase, DEEP, Impact FC, and the WSOF (World Series of Fighting).
