This Saturday February 9, Badr Al-Ramyan, the 20 year old fighter from WarLions MMA Academy is set to make his MMA Debut at Gladiators Fighting Championship which will take place at the “Crown Plaza” Hotel in Kuwait.
Training under the guidance of Amr hafiz, Certified MMA conditioning coach/ 4-time Egyptian Sanda Champ and Judoka Ahmad El Ahmar who is helping his ground game, Alramyan feels more than ready for his upcoming bout and he is training up to 5 hours a day.
I am looking forward to getting that first win and getting the ball rolling for 2013, he said when asked about making his debut.
He will be fighting fellow Kuwaiti Abdul Hadi Al Adwan, a well known BJJ practitioner who will also be having his first MMA fight that night.
It appears he knows what to expect and is willing to make the sacrifices necessary. With continued hard work, and guidance from Amr Hafiz and others at WarLions academy, he certainly will be given all the tools he needs to make it. Badr’s combination of both kickboxing and BJJ skills will definitely be instrumental to his success.
go bader go!
bring the belt home 🙂
