Lawin Khalil Mustafa vs Georges Eid

Here we go! Next up is Lawin Khalil Mustafa vs. Georges Eid!!!!

Lawin usually fights at 93 KG but has dropped to 84 for this bout. Georges on the other hand has gone up a weightclass, usually fighting at 77 KG. Lets see where this one goes.

Round 1: Here we gooooo!

They touch gloves. Lawin controlling the cage early. A low kick by Georges lands. ANother one lands right after. Lawin doing the stalking here. Georges throws a vicious overhand. ANother low kick by Georges. Lawin seems to be happy to be patient in this one. Georges goes for the takedown but doesnt get it. Low kick by Lawin this time. Lawin rushes in with a flurry, he floors Goerges. Lawin with Georges up against the cage. on the ground. They scramble for position. Lawin now in full mount! Lawin trying to posture up and deliver strikes but Goerges doing a good job of holding on to the upper body of Lawin. Georges reverses and ends up in a nasty triangbe!!! Wow!

Lawin is trying to pull Georges hand out and go for the armbar but Georges defending well. Georges manages to scramble out and ends up in side mount! He delivers short punches and elbows. Lawin doing a good job of defending the strikes however. Georges working for a kimura but doesnt get it. 10 seconds to go. Georges delivers short strikes. That’s it! Round 1 is over!

That’s a super close round…. I guess we have to give it to Georges since he controlled the beginning and end of the round. 10-9 Georges

Round 2: Georges throws a spinning back-fist that lands. He attempts a crazy spin kick but ends up flat on his back. Lawin rushes in but Georges turns him and is in side control right up against the cage.

Georges doing a good job of controlling Lawin against the cage. Georges delivers short punches to Lawin. Georges now in Lawin’s guard. Lawin attempts an armbar but cant quite land it. Another armbar attempt by Lawin but it doesnt quite come off. Georges pushes off and ends up in Full Mount! They jostle and Georges ends up in Lawin’s half guard.

Yves stands them up. Lawin looking a bit tired here. Georges looking quite fresh still. Low kick by Georges lands followed by a body kick. Lawin attempts the take down but doesnt quite get it. He ends up against the cage with Georges on him. 10 seconds to go in this round. That’s it!

That’s another 10-9 to Georges! Lawin needs to pick up the pace here.

Round 3: Here we go. Georges throws a high kick and low kick combo. Lawin rushes in and goes for the takedown. Georges doing a good job of turning him around and ends up taking down Lawin. Georges in Lawin’s guard. Lets see what he can do from here. Lawin rolls and tries for the arm bar but Georges doing a good job of defending against it. They jostle and Lawins turns him around. Lawin now in Georges half guard against the cage.

Lawin rolls for a knee bar but needs to cover his face. This looks dangeours. Ouch hes got it!!! Hes got the knee bar! He is hyperextending it. This looks nasty! Wow!!! He managed to escape that. Lawin still working for the knee bar but he is running out of time. Georges teeing off and throws a couple of nasty looking strikes to Lawins face. Georges escapes the knee bar! He spins and is in Lawin’s guard. Lawin looks exhausted!

Lawin turns and gives up his back. 10 sceonds to go. That’s it!
