Besides mixed martial arts, the hottest topic in the region recently seems to be Brazilian jiujitsu as this sports spread like water in the region ! Everyone with a sane mind has apparently spent his saving to buy themselves a gi, start taking a BJJ class and compete!
With the growing knowledge and love for mixed martial arts, fighters and athletes are finding it essential to train in Brazilian jujitsu, which is creating a huge wave and a new kind of fanaticism for the sport of BJJ. Now, and for the first time ever, Bahrain will host an open Brazilian jujitsu tournament at Reza’s Martial Arts Center. The center is run by BJJ black belt and local mixed martial arts pioneer, Reza Mondaredi, who hopes to share his passion for the sport with the Bahraini locals, expand the sport’s fan base there and create a regular BJJ tournament, open for everyone, with the aim of helping develop the grappling talent for both BJJ practitioners and mixed martial arts competition aspirers.
Be ready ! As the first Bahrain Open Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Championship 2014 will be coming up on 26/12/2014
