Kevin Koldobsky Replaces Peter Queally To Face Eldar Eldarov at Brave 1

Brave Combat Federation is proud to announced Eldar Eldarov’s (7-1) new opponent, Kevin Koldobsky (6-2), who now replaces Peter Queally on the main card of ”Brave 1“.

This Welterweight battle, featuring the return of the indomitable Eldarov, will take place on September 23rd on KHK MMA’s first Brave installment to be headlined by a spectacular showdown between Mohammad Fakhreddine vs Thiago Vieira.

For the last seven years, Eldarov has been pinning his opponents down and breaking them one-by-one. He is on a dominant seven-fight winning streak stretching back to 2009. The only man to beat him in the cage is the still undefeated juggernaut Khabib Nurmagomedov.

Eldarov has been able to impose his will upon every opponent, dragging them to the ground and submitting them, one after the other.

The Dagestani has also been part of the KHK MMA coaching team, working with the Bahraini amateur team, who just returned from Las Vegas after competing in the IMMAF World Championships.

KHK MMA professional team, powered by H.H Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, is not short of quality training partners with fighters like Jose “Shorty” Torres, Khabib Nurmagomedov and Frankie Edgar to name just a few.

However, Eldarov has a battle in front of him at Brave 1, in the form of SBG trained Argentinian Kevin ‘El General’ Koldobsky, who recently joined Ireland’s most famous gym, Straight Blast Gym, owned by head coach John Kavannagh. Aside from Koldobsky’s high profile training partners, such as Conor Mcgregor, he has some serious momentum going into this fight, riding a four-fight win streak, all via stoppage. He presents a whole new problem for Eldarov, who was set to face a completely different style against an elusive Peter Queally.

Now he will take on a man who, similar to himself likes to grapple, grind and ground-and-pound.
This is perhaps a style more suited to Eldarov, who will be confident in his chances of beating any other man in a grappling war. However he may have to be wary of some new tricks learned by “El General” in his new gym in Ireland.

Brave 1 will take place at Khalifa Sports City in Manama, Bahrain and tickets can be purchased at Bravefights.com, Ticketmaster and at Khalifa Sports City.

More fights will be announced in the coming weeks on ArabsMMA.com
