Latest news from Egyptian MMA, Mahmoud Salama one of Egyptian Top Team’s heaviest hitters will be facing Karlos Vemola, a highly decorated MMA veteran at UCMMA 38 on February 1st, 2014. Salama faced Abdallah Abou Hamdan at the Desert Force Finals in one of the the most exciting fights in 2013 yet was on the losing end as the second round ended.
Salama is surely a very powerful individual who loves to stand and trade, yet against an even more dangerous guy like Vemola, this could not go as planned. With little to know ground game, Salama might have trouble controlling the Czech Greco-Roman Champion and his heavy ground and pound.
Karlos Vémola (Jr.) (12-4) comes from a Greco-Roman wrestling background. He is a six-time Czech Republic National Greco-Roman Wrestling Champion.
In April 2010, Vemola signed with the UFC were he faced the likes of Joe Madson, Seth Petruzelli,Caio Magalhaes and Francis Carmont. He won 2 of 6 fights under the UFC promotion then got released on June8, 2013. Since then, Vemola Rides a 3 win streak in three separate promotions.
“Anything can happen in MMA” they said! Well this fight is one of these fights! The odds are in no way even close, all the cards say Vemola will win but only (February 1) will unveil the final results.
