ONE Championship has announced that it has formed a global partnership with Facebook to distribute “exclusive content” on the video-on-demand service Facebook Watch. The organization is the largest in Asia.
ONE Championship’s athletes will stream gameplay and gaming commentary through the Facebook Gaming channel. Content from One Virtual Reality will also be added to the Venues app, which was rolled out by the global social media giant to provide an interactive second-screen experience to live events.
The entertainment sports company claims it has over 25 million followers on its Facebook page and amassed more than 5 billion platform video views in 2019.
The company hosts bouts of martial arts matches that include Muay Thai, kickboxing, karate, kung fu, Silat, Sanda, Lethwei, mixed martial arts, Tae Kwon Do, and submission grappling, among others. It also operates One Esports, which runs Asia’s esports championship series.
One Championship broadcasts across over 150 countries, with digital broadcasters such as Star Sports, Tencent, TV5, Astro, ClaroSports, Startimes, Fox Sports, Skynet, and Mediacorp.
