Team Relentless head coach, Jithendra Khare has responded to the strong message from Hamza Kooheji’s coach, Eldar Eldarov and his team mates. Brave 9 is set to feature the intense battle between Bahrain’s only fighter Hamza Kooheji and India’s Mohammed Farhad in the bantamweight division. Both the fighters are undefeated in Brave Combat Federation and are on the road towards the championship title of the bantamweight division.
The verbal altercation started after Farhad’s statements about Hamza Kooheji in his latest interviews, claiming that he will finish him and his day’s as Bahrain Pride will soon be over.
Check out the poster below with Farhad’s quote which made Eldar Eldarov furious. Eldarov made sure to leave a mark and made the following comments on BraveMMA instagram account.
“”After all the hospitality in Bahrain, you talk this kind of things? Your good days in Bahrain are over”, said Eldar Eldarov regarding the responses from Farhad.
In turn, Jithendra Khare, who trains Farhad at Team Relentless responded with the following:
“This was a funny read. I was surprised to know that India doesn’t support its athletes. Wait, hold on we already knew that! But we are still fighting and putting on great shows all around South East Asia and now Middle East. Nothing is ever spoon fed to us and every day is a struggle to continue doing what we love to do. No quarters are asked and none ever given. Huge respect to a senior coach such as Eldar Eldarov but respect all, fear none. Farhad, let’s go to war”.
Farhad has the longest winning streak in Indian MMA history and holds the record for the fastest knockout in the Brave Combat Federation. He has received overwhelming support from the Indian mixed martial arts community against Hamza Kooheji. The bout will take place at Khalifa Sports City on November 17 during the Brave International Combat Week. Meanwhile Bahrain MMA gym where Hamza trains have rendered full fledged support to Hamza Kooheji. Bahraini artists have also came up with a T-Shirt design concept to support Hamza Kooheji and the art is becoming the representation of the face of MMA in Bahrain.
