Arab MMA is coming home. On Friday, Oct. 30, DF UNCAGED stages a 14-bout international card inside the nearly 1,900-year-old Roman Theatre in downtown Amman, live and free-to-air on MBC Action.

For Arab fans, the biggest name on the poster is Mohammad Fakhreddine (18-5). The 42-year-old Lebanese star is a BRAVE CF Hall of Famer who won the promotion’s middleweight title in 2020, claimed the light heavyweight belt in 2022 to become, per BRAVE, the first Arab double-division world champion in MMA history, and reclaimed middleweight gold in 2025. He made his name on the region’s original Amman-based promotion Desert Force, and now he returns to the city to face Wales’ John Martin Fraser (11-6), a Cage Warriors and UAE Warriors veteran, at a 92 kg catchweight.

In the main event, former ACA welterweight champion Mukhammad Berkhamov (17-3) takes on American Dante Schiro (13-6) at an 80 kg catchweight. Berkhamov, a Combat Sambo specialist from Nalchik, Russia, has lost just twice in 18 pro fights. Schiro is a durable pressure fighter who does his best work grinding in the clinch.

The co-main event pits “The Ultimate Fighter 23” winner and former UFC fighter Andrew Sanchez (14-9) against Russian power puncher Mikhail Ragozin (25-7) at middleweight.

Arab fighters on the card

Four Jordanians fight in front of a home crowd: Yazan Balaawi, Zaki Kayyali, Freih Harahsheh and Abdullah Jaweesh, who makes his pro debut on the main card. Saudi Arabia’s Faris Al Raimi also fights on the main card, against Algeria’s Salman Hentous. Morocco is represented by Issam Azelhad and Abdel Hafid Bendary, and Tunisia by Abbes Hadded and Islam Chelouti.

Jordan MMA Week

The fight closes a week of public events at some of Jordan’s best-known landmarks: a press conference at the Amman Citadel on Oct. 27, open workouts on the Dead Sea Corniche on Oct. 28 and ceremonial weigh-ins at the Odeon Theatre on Oct. 29.
