Abbas Khan: Pakistan’s Unstoppable Force Aims for Victory at BRAVE CF 80

Mohammed Abbas Khan from Pakistan faces the undefeated Chad Griffiths (6-0-0) from Great Britain Top Team at BRAVE CF 80 which showcases Arab Legends vs. UK & Ireland.

Mohammed Abbas Khan (6-1-0) ushered a new era in the history of combat sports in Pakistan that cherishes a rich tradition of celebrated combat sports legends like Amir Khan, Naseem Hamed, Muhammad Waseem, and many more. Abbas Khan is currently the biggest name in Pakistan MMA with a dominating 6-fight win streak staying undefeated in his professional career for the past 3 years.

Trained under the legendary Eldar Eldarov of the KHK MMA fight team who is a student of the legendary Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, father of Khabib Nurmagomedov, Abbas is the chosen one from Pakistan to take the nation’s glory to great heights. He will be representing Pakistan at BRAVE CF 80 which embraces the theme of Arab Legends vs. UK & Ireland. Khan will face the undefeated Chad Griffiths (6-0-0) from Great Britain Top Team representing England on 15 December 2023 at the Khalifa Sports City in Bahrain.

The fight marks the biggest test in the career of Abbas Khan since he will be facing an adversary who has won all his fights by way of stoppage and he returned to MMA after a stint in Bare Knuckle Boxing. Khan was born poor in Mardan, Pakistan. Khan landed in the Kingdom of Bahrain as an expatriate to work for his livelihood. He worked as a laborer in construction, and as a garbage collector, emptying the contents of large barrels. Then he requested Mohammed Shahid an opportunity to train at Bahrain MMA which was owned by Mohammed Shahid, the current President of BRAVE Combat Federation.

Mohammed Shahid understood that Khan who works to meet his livelihood will not be able to pay the required fee. Not only was Khan allowed to train for free at the facility, but he was also allowed to stay there so that he could focus more on the training. Soon Khan was able to train alongside the KHK MMA Fight Team where he was recognized and supported by His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.

His Highness Sheikh Khalid not only supported the young fighter who had a dream but also guided him to develop as a complete fighter. Abbas Khan evolved as a fighter representing the KHK MMA Fight Team at the IMMAF World Championships winning medals. He also competed in Boxing, Combat Sambo, and Jiu-Jitsu ahead of his debut as an amateur fighter at BRAVE CF 17 against Sikandar Badar in Pakistan. Khan finished his opponent by TKO within 14 seconds.

Abbas represents the success of the KHK system that has given rise to numerous IMMAF World champions and MMA fighters in the region. An athlete who had no access to training in the sport he loves was given the resources, facilities, infrastructure, and guidance. This helped the young icon from Pakistan which is still at the grassroots level when it comes to MMA to pursue his dream to be a global superstar.

Athletes from 11 nations will be in action at BRAVE CF 80, highlighting BRAVE CF’s international reach. The massive fight card features athletes from the United States of America, South Africa, Jordan, Serbia, Pakistan, Bahrain, the Republic of Ireland, Lebanon, England, Egypt, and Italy.
