Gurdarshan Mangat lived up to his hype as the Tristar trained Indian secured a second round TKO victory over Troy Bantiag following a dominant display.
He peppered Bantiag with kicks to the body and knees to the head in the clinch as he wore down the game, but over-matched Filipino.
He finished round one with a beautiful head kick and knee to the head which turned out the lights of Bantiag who collapsed, but was saved by the bell.
Mangat came out of the traps and attacked at the beginning of the second round, securing a nice takedown and then Bantiag covered-up the moment he started landing his ground and pound. The referee soon called a halt to the contest as Mangat landed hammer fists, moving the Indian to 9-1 as Bantiag fell to 5-5.
