The fifth installment of Brave Combat Federation will be hosted in Mumbai,India Brave announced this weekend. The event will be held on Saturday, April 23, in The Dome Stadium of National Sports Club of India.
The news was released on Saturday, to an expectant crowd of fans and media who were gathered at the press conference following Brave 3: Battle in Brazil which took place in Curitiba.
The event in India will be the 3rd Brave CF event outside Bahrain, after two successful Brave events in the Kingdom in 2016. Although the card is yet to be revealed, excitement is building in anticipation of potential bouts to be announced in the coming weeks.
Indian talents which have already signed with Brave Combat Federation includes Pawan Maan Singh, Bharat Khandare, Hardeep Rai, Chaitanya Gavali, Gurdarshan Mangat, Abdul Muneer, Atif Mohammad, Mohammed Farhad and Suny Khatri.
“We view this event as the next step towards strengthening diplomatic, cultural and economic ties between India and Bahrain. We are excited to kick off our 2017 India event calendar with the event in Mumbai,” said President of Brave Combat Federation, Mohammed Shahid. “Our event in India will be the perfect way to pay tribute to the great nation of India and honor the spirit of Mumbai. Indian athletes had been making their presence felt in various combat sports in the international level. It is time for India to go for glory. India is the emerging market in our strategy to grow the brand and the sport of MMA in the ASEAN region.”
Meanwhile, the promotion heads to United Arab Emirates on March 31 with an inaugural title fight headlining the event. Brave 4: Unstoppable will take place in IPIC Arena, Abu Dhabi will a super stacked card for the ages.
