Cage Glory Championship (CGC) in Riyadh – Fight Cards Shaping Up

CGC – Cage Glory Championship is ready to start the year with double headers in Saudi Arabia. On February 2 and 3, the popular MMA promotion based out of Cyprus will be live at King Saud University Arena in Riyadh. The full fight cards of the consecutive events CGC 4 and CGC 5 are shaping up nicely.

The promotion has announced a few matches already for CGC 5 on its social media, with the main event pitting Emrah Sonmez, a former DWCS contender facing off against former Brave CF contender Abdo Saber, who recently triumphed at MEFC – Middle East Fighting Championship.

Ahmed ” The Prince ” Fares will also be taking part in this event.  A person with knowledge of the matchup confirmed the booking to ArabsMMA but asked to remain anonymous since the promotion has yet to make an official announcement. Ahmed Fares will be facing Kushal Vyas at CGC 4. Faress is one of the most experienced fighters to come out of the Middle East and North Africa region. With 27 professional fights and 19 victories, Faress has competed in multiple promotions like UAE Warriors, Middle East FC, One Championship, and Brave CF to name a few. The Team Saracens captain made sure to finish every fight he ever won, and that possibly makes him the only Arab fighter to ever do it at this scale.
