Desert Force are rapidly conquering the Middle East. After many exciting events in Amman, Jordan, they moved their show to Dubai, UAE and now Bahrain.
Whispers heard in anxious anticipation of the upcoming Desert Force fight card includes Abdel Medjedoub and his return to the cage for Desert Force, Bahrain. Fighting out of Montreal, Quebec – Canada Medjedoub is yet another exciting fight coming out of Firas Zahabi’s Tristar Gym. Medjedoub (3-0) has defeated all his opponents, including his most recent, Tarek Suleiman, by KO/TKO.
It has also been heard that Medjedoub is looking to drop to Welterweight. If this is surely the case, many fighters in this division could face Abdel!
A good match-up would be against Mohamad Ghorabi. Ghorabi beat Azzedine Belharch by a vicious TKO to be crowned the winner of the Al Academiya finale. He fights out of Shogun Gym in Beirut, Lebanon and has recently earned the #2 spot in the welterweight division in my opinion. If Ghorabi is granted a title shot, then Abdel could possibly face yet another power force at 77, be it Anas siraj Mounir, Mounir Lazzez, Azzedine Belharch and Amr Wahmann.
Having Abdel against anyone would surely be an exciting fight! This guy’s fighting style and speed make every second count. He’s called the Blade for a reason, blink once and its all gone Pete Tongue!
Additions to Desert Force Bahrain are revealed everyday, yet nothing about the “Blade” yet! Good thing is, if we missed him this time, April’s Desert Force event will surely pit this talent against a worthy opponent!
