Round 1: Saddam opens the round with fast take down, pressuring Saba from the beginning. Saba controlling the fight, but Saddam trying to to make more damage. A great sweep from Saba, before he lands in the mount. Wow! Saba maintaining control as Saddam helplessly trying to get hold of a better position. Saba peppering Abu Ragheb from top, no significant damage. Saba still controlling, Saddam fails to escape. Saba with a high mount, goes for an armbar, it’s locked. Round 3: Saddam walks to Saba and shakes his hand. Saddam goes for the take down putting Saba on the cage. He manages to get the takedown after using brute power in this one. Saba with short elbows making damage to his back. Saddam working from guard but the strikes are not very effective.
Saba goes for a triangle but Saddam brushes it off. Saba doing a great job handling Sadam on the ground. Referee stands them up, Saddam catches Saba with a big right hand and goes for the takedown, but Saba controls the situation and pressures Abu Ragheb on the cage. Saba working the knees as he pressures Saddam on the cage. Saba with more knees to Saddams thighs. 30 seconds, the referee stands them up. Saba with a jab, and Saddam with another successful takedown. Saba Sweeps. Saba pounding Abu Ragheb. Third round is over!
That was a close fight. We could very well see Saba’s hand raised, or possibly the Jordanian in Amman!
