Dubai, UAE – Aniss Al Hajjajy wasted no time taking Christofer Silva to the canvas, and once he put the fight there, it was only a matter of time until the finish came.
The welterweight bout was part of the main card of Desert Force 20 event at SkyDive Dubai in UAE. It aired on MBC Action following the preliminary card.
Al Hajjajy (9-5 MMA, 4-0 Desert Force) immediately took Silva (3-2 MMA, 1-2 Desert Force) down after opening up with a strong inside low kick and dropping for an ankle pick, quickly establishing grappling domination over Christofer. Silva tried to setup a weak kimura from bottom which made it easy for Al Hajjajy to secure his own as he sits and waits in S mount position with Silva’s arm. He showed a lethal level of patience as he waits for Silva to tire out and forced him to submit via Kimura, proving that he is a dangerous fighter with a BJJ level that is unmatched in Desert Force.
“I don’t mind fighting anyone. I can fight at 70 Kg or 77 Kg, it’s up to Desert Force to give me the fights.”, said Hajjajy.
This win marks Alhajjay’s fourth consecutive victory in Desert Force as he climbs back to the welterweight division where he originally reigned as champion.
“I would like to Thank my Team BTT and coach Joao Amaral, and of course all the fans who supported me, long Live the King and long live morocco.”
