Desert Force 23 took place this Monday [May 30, 2016] at the Ghazir Stadium in Ghazir, Lebanon. Tarek Suleiman took on Yacine Bandoui who was initially set to challenge Mohammad Karaki for the middleweight title.
1 minute 24 seconds into round 1, Suleiman managed to lock in a tight neck crank scoring one of the fastest submissions in Desert Force. A truly exceptional performance from the Shogun fighter who was promoted to purple belt by coach Ashraf Shishani right after he won the fight. Tarek mentioned in his post fight talk that he has been upping his ground game with the help of the wizard Ashraf Shishani, BJJ black belt under Zaid Mirza, who has obviously cast his spell.
