Four events are going to send ripples through the world of martial arts, and all are happening in the Middle-East. Beginning with Cedar FC which returns this Saturday, followed by Brave 2, Phoenix 1, and Desert Force 25 in December .
Cedar Fighting Championship – October 22, 2016
Cedar Fighting Championship has compiled an interesting fight card, both amateur and professional, with three title fights in the Bantamweight, Welterweight and Heavyweight divisions. The amateur fights will provide an unprecedented opportunity for 30 aspiring mixed martial artists, who will perform on the big stage and hope to emulate their professional idols. On the main professional card, Lebanon’s own heavyweight hero Mark Tanios returns to the cage after being involved in Rizin Fighting Championship’s prestigious heavyweight tournament. Also Bantamweight prospect George Bardawil will look to improve his record to 4-0 on that night.
Brave 2: Dynasty – December 2, 2016
December is the golden month with three MMA events, beginning with Brave 2: Dynasty on December 2nd.
Brave Combat Federation have been staying busy following the resounding success of their premier show last September, and they’ve already made some huge announcements which will impact the forthcoming show.
CEO Mohammed Shahid has announced Brave’s first ever title fight will take place between Masio Fullen and Alan Omer. This featherweight bout will be accompanied by a host of global MMA fights, involving some of the finest international talent on the planet.
Phoenix Fighting Championship – December 10, 2016
A week later, Brave sees the inaugural Phoenix Fighting Championship show on December 10th. This will deliver a spectacle of a different kind, but equally as enthralling. Phoenix 1 will be punctuated one MMA and another Muay Thai card, involving some of the world’s best practitioners. Undoubtedly, the Thai legend Banchamek “Buakaw” will be steadling the spotlight in long-awaited fight against Andre Kulebin.
The MMA card boasts big fights, including the headliner Davi Ramos vs Nick Piedmont. That is in addition to Tarek Suleiman’s rematch with Grigoriy Kichigin.
Desert Force 25 – December 19, 2016
Desert Force 25 hits Morocco for the first time in the promotions history on December 19. This event could possibly hold two title fights and two Al Academiya Finales. Something that will surely give the Moroccan crowd a full plate of the best martial arts in the region. Rumored title fight between Mohamed Karaki and Yazan Janeb is in the mill. Also title defenses between Wehbe Vs Siraj Mounir and Rashed Vs Alsaidi could very well take place on this card.
MMA is booming in the middle-east and with these four seminal events, the year will definitely end with a bang!
