Phoenix 6 will witness a clash between two top Welterweight fighters from the opposite side of the world as the Brazilian fighter Claudio Cezario takes on Han Seul Kim from South Korea.
Claudio Cesario (11-4-0), made his Phoenix debut at 2016 in the first Phoenix event ever which took place in Lebanon. The Brazilian showcased an arsenal of impressive MMA skills, both on the ground and on the feet, eventually earning a split decision victory over Arab favorite Mohammad Ghorabi, who was fighting on his own home turf. In his 2nd fight at Phoenix 4, Cezario forced a more decisive performance, laying the pressure on Samal Emilbekov in the third round to reap a late round TKO finish of his opponent and make it 3 straight victories on his fight record. Fight fans know very well that Cezario is 1 win shy away from receiving a potential title shot to perhaps become the first ever Phoenix Welterweight Champion.

The 2nd ranked professional Welterweight fighter at South Korea, as well as the 2nd ranked professional Welterweight Southeast Asia Welterweight fighter, Han Seul Kim (9-3-0), is obviously a scary dude! His last victory was actually his Phoenix debut at Phoenix 4 against Mohammad Ghorabi. Out of nowhere, Han Seul Kim landed a couple of punches that dropped Ghorabi and rushed forward, pursuing his killer instincts to end the fight in an explosively quick fashion via TKO in the 2nd round. Though we haven’t yet seen much of his ground game, Han Seul Kim is riding high on a 5 fight win streak and is no doubt confident of coming out on top against Cezario.
