It seems that local mixed martial arts events and promotions are growing bigger and better. Not only has the sport itself grown so large to graduate many entertaining locally bred fighters, but the events themselves are becoming very much anticipated and promising each time around.

The knockout infamous Iraqi Combat Fighting Championship (ICFC) is about to hold another event soon. This time, it is rumored that the participating fighters lineup is the best and this card is surely the best out of the 6.

Fighting on that night will be Desert Force Al Academiya’s welterweight semi-finalist, who has previously fought in ICFC and now with a professional mixed martial arts record of 2-1, Ahmed Saeb. Also on the card will be Ali Alhadi, who also participated in the first season of Desert Force Al Academiya as a lightweight with previous cage experience. Aws Alobaidi, who has previously fought in Desert Force with a defeat and ICFC with a victory, will step in the cage on that fight night with a 1-1 record.

This is doubtlessly great for the sport of mixed martial arts and for the fighters themselves. Giving them the chance to stay in action and away from ring rust, and also offering them a place to widen their scope of experience.

Surely the largest ICFC event yet with so many important names on the card. Stay tuned on ArabsMMA.com
