Announcement! Once again, Jordan will be witnessing a first of its kind local amateur tournament, Jordan Amateur Championship, organised in Amman and set for the 21st of November at the Sports City Arena.

The event is hosted by the founders of Jordan Jiu Jitsu Cup themselves, Taher Hamdan and Thabet Agha, alongside Jahed Toughouj from Desert Force and The Famous Ashraf Shishani from Makhai Academy. And Last But Not Least Yazan Ghattas, our One And Only Referee!

About the Organizers
Jahed has been working with the number one MMA promotion in the Middle East Desert Force for quite a while achieving remarkable results, especially in the logistics field.

Renowned coach and wrestler Ashraf has been seen around the MMA scene for as long as we can remember. Ashraf is currently accompanying Jahed and also operating his own Team at Makhai.

Thabet Agha and Taher Hamdan are the guys behind the success of JJC (Jordan Jiu Jutsu Cup) event, bringing some good organization skills to fruition in what seems to be a highly promising project!

So, expect the excitement for this tournament to boil up!

This tournament might as well be one of the most exciting amateur tournaments in the region yet! Mixed Martial Arts has taken Jordan by storm and do not be surprised if these amateur athletes show professional skills.

The event is an opportunity for all amateur fighters in Jordan to compete and gain experience, maybe become more acclaimed, and even watched and scouted by other MMA organisations. A great opportunity for the fighters who are really looking forward to creating a career out of their passions.

The fight night will witness 11 amateur fights with athletes from clubs from all over the country, having the opportunity to showcase there talents, distributed among 5 different weight categories: Bantamweight, featherweight, lightweight, welterweight, and middleweight.

Stay tuned for the full fight card. According to JAC officials, it will be out in less than 2 weeks!
