In his first ever “live” social media broadcast, Karaki gave the local mixed martial arts fans some thoughts about his upcoming opponent, Alaa Mansour, whom he will face at Phoenix Fighting Championship 4. Karaki also did not shy away from discussing his thoughts on his former teammates, Lebanese fighters Mohammad Fakhreddine and Mohammad Ghorabi.
Not a huge fan of trash talking himself, Karaki was asked to discuss the upcoming bout between Mohammad “The Latest” Fakhreddine and Tahar Hadbi. According to Karaki, Hadbi’s excessive trash talking was not at all appreciated by him, and he seems to be looking down on Hadbi.
“I’m not a big fan of trash talking. Tahar Hadbi, talked a lot of meaningless shit. Even if Tahar defeats Fakhreddine in their fight, I look down on him now after what he spoke.”
An interesting question that a fan asked Karaki was whether he would be down to fight his former team-mate and current friend, Mohammad Ghorabi. However, Karaki’s answer pretty much put the possibilities of this fight happening to bed.
“Ghorabi and I fight at different weight divisions. He is a close friend. Actually, he’s even more than that. We’ve shared a room together on multiple occasions LOL. So, it won’t happen.”
Phoenix Fighting Championship 4 will take place on the 22nd of December in Dubai at the Dubai World Trade Center. The undefeated Lebanese fighter, Mohammad “O Lutador” Karaki will be facing the undefeated Egyptian competitor Alaa Mansour in a fight that Karaki is a huge favorite to win. Still though, if the sport of mixed martial arts has taught us one thing, it is that at any moment, anything can happen!
