Middle East Fighting Championship has announced details for their next event, MEFC 4.
The fourth installment of MEFC’s brand of MMA takes place in Abu Dhabi and goes down on May 24th.

The promotion hasn’t even been around for half a year and the rate of activity through that relatively short time has been impressive. MEFC 1 transpired on December 1st of last year and emanated from Dubai Festival City Mall in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The sophomore event, MEFC 2, transpired on January 26th at Danat Al Ain Resort in Al Ain City, United Arab Emirates

Also, MEFC 3 went down on March 8th and emanated from Al Ain City, United Arab Emirates.
An early bout announced for the fourth installment of MEFC is Ibrahim Sawi vs Ahmed Al Rubaye.
Sawi has a one hundred percent finishing rate across his mixed martial arts wins and looks to continue that trend in this next matchup.
The Egyptian martial artist is coming off of a pair of no contests on the UAE Warriors circuit versus Yuri Fraga and Kevin Oumar after an accidental low blow and an illegal knee, respectively. He returns to the cage for the first time in over three years.
The 37-year-old has also competed in Muay Thai and steps up to heavyweight here after largely having fought at light heavyweight as well as middleweight in MMA.
Ahmed Al Rubaye has also previously fought for UAE Warriors and looks to emerge triumphant in this looming contest.
Al Rubaye has also competed at previous MEFC installments. The Iraq-based combatant earned a first-round submission win over Yousef Abu Shreekh at MEFC 1. Al Rubaye also competed at MEFC 2 but fell short via unanimous decision in his clash against Ibrahim El Nagashi. The Branibor Team Baghdad product has previously fought ONE Championship staple Kirill Grishenko and has tested skills with some heavy-handed adversaries over the course of his career.
The 34-year-old looks to return to his victorious ways after having a four-fight winning streak snapped in his last outing.
