June is going to be a busy month for Middle East MMA fighters. As Yousef Mohammed listed on his Instagram (under a mma101_ar handle), there are 22 bouts to be held in various promotions that include athletes from the region. However, these are not only bouts in the respected fight cards.
This past weekend Amir Albazi defeated Kai Kara – France thanks to judges’ decision at UFC on ESPN 46.
IDFC 3
The event takes place on June 16th in Najaf, Iraq, and will air on Youtube. Iraqi Dragon Fighters Championship promotion’s offering includes six bouts. All of them are clashes between fighters representing Middle East countries.

The French promotion will hold an event on June 17th in Reims, France. It also will air on Youtube. Two Algerian fighters will be in action as Boualem Sahraoui takes on Maximilien Vallot and Sofiane Aissaoui will square off against Cristiano Rios.
BRAVE CF 71 & 72
The well-known BRAVE CF promotion will visit Riffa, Bahrain on June 19th. BRAVE CF 71 will include 8 MMA bouts with six of them including fighters from the Middle East.
BRAVE CF 71 includes the following matchups:

Maysara Mohamed vs. Ruel Pañales
Khamzat Maaev vs. Elie Farah
Ramazan Gitinov vs. Abderrahman Errachidy

Four days later the promotion will return to the Bahrain National Stadium in Riffa. Mohamed Baraka will trade blows with Rasul Magomedov and Yanis Ghemmouri will look to continue his eight -fight winning streak as he faces Mehmos Raza.

Ares FC 16
On the same day another French promotion, Ares FC, will hold an event in Paris, which will air on UFC Fight Pass. The Moroccan fighter, Ilian Bouafa will square off against Carlos Graca.
Quadya MMA 3
June 23rd will be a busy day for MMA fans. The third event will be held by an Egyptian promotion Quadya MMA. The card includes various MMA fighters from the country.
In the headling bout, Mohamed Salem will defend Qadya welterweight title against Rahul K. Raju.
Ahmed El Sisi will square off against Riyadh Hamzah and Adham Ehab will take on Agamy Mohamed. Other matchups include: Mohamed El – Deeb vs. Ali El Din Khatab, Mohamed Gamal vs. Mohamed El – Zanaty and Serkhan Valili vs. Ismail Khan.
PFL 6
Professional Fighters League finalizes its’ 2023 regular season on June 23.
The Saudi Arabia representative, Abdullah Al-Qahtani will make his promotional debut as he takes on Lamar Brown. ‘The Reaper’ is a BRAVE CF alumnus with a 5 – 1 record. His sole defeat came as a result of the judges’ decision when he lost to Ilyor Bakhtiyar Uulu at BRAVE CF 62.
The Middle East MMA circuit veteran Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi was scheduled to take on the former GLORY kickboxing champion, Cedric Doumbe. However, the bout was canceled due to Frenchmen suffering a wrist injury. Instead, the “Jordanian Lion” will take on Zach Juusola, who has a 14 – 9 MMA record.
