News About the second Cage Fighters event has began to swing out with the main event pitting the current Cage Fighters light heavyweight title holder against the Dutchman Neill Van Noord.
Mohamed “Felx” Ali, a fan favorite and a true MMA veteran will be making his way back to Kuwait after a year since his last visit as he plans to defend his title against the Dutchman Nills Van Noord (11-6) who will try to upset the local crowd and steal the belt from the fan “Felx”!
Mohamed Ali had his debut with Cage fighters promotion in May, 2013 defeating Thomas Denham via TKO in the second round and earned the light heavyweight title which he will defend for the first time against Nills Van Noord this May in Kuwait’s Cage Fighters 2.
Ali, a fighter who is always busy, had a great year in 2013 finishing 4 out of 5 opponents and coming up short only once. He is also scheduled to fight Malik Merad (16-11) at Cage Warriors Fight Night 10 March 28, 2014 / King Hussein Youth City Boxing Arena, Amman, Jordan.
You just Can’t Stop This Man! A key factor in his fight against Noord would be the height difference between the 2 fighters! Ali walking tall at 181 cm and Neil being the taller at 191 will have a reach advantage. Then again, Ali’s opponents have always come in LARGE sizes, an issue Ali has always managed to handle when the cage door gets locked!
Both fighters have 6 wins via KO/TKO and are known for going in for the kill. However, this will be Noord’s first fight as a light heavyweight, How will the Dutchman handle the stronger Ali ? How will he handle the Arab crowd who will be cheering for the Egyptian intensely ?!
Stay tuned on ArabsMMA!
