Nacif Elias known for his talent in Judo and Jiu-jitsu has done it once again. Representing Lebanon in the Asian Beach Games 2014, he has just accomplished a Gold medal in Judo and Bronze in Ju-jitsu.
Organized by the Olympic Council of Asia, the Asian Beach Games currently taking place in Phuket Thailand contain 26 different sports and 34 events. Around 2,500 players and coaches from 45 nations are expected to participate in the multi-sport event held every two years in Asia.
The well-deserved Gold medal in Judo came after three exciting matches against three commendable opponents, to which Nacif defeated. During the quarter finals he faced Adnan Khankan from Syria, in the semi-finals SaidzhalolSaidov from Tajikistan, and Ali DehghaniFard from Iran in the final.
The Bronze Medal in Jiu-jitsu was received after winning three intense matches and sustaining one defeat to UAE, in the men’s 81-kilogram weight division.
In support of and love for his country, this dedicated champion declared both his gold and bronze victories for the Lebanese Army. He will definitely have the countries support in the Olympic Games Rio 2016.
