ONE Championship™ (ONE), returned to host a small event in Lumpinee Stadium with ONE Friday Fights 81: Superbon vs. Nattawut. In the main event, ONE Interim Featherweight Kickboxing World Champion and #1-ranked featherweight Muay Thai contender Superbon made quick work of #2-ranked “Smokin” Jo Nattawut, stopping his opponent in round one.
The Thai superstar wasted no time, pushing the pace against Nattawut with thunderous head kicks and piercing elbows. Nattawut tried his best to engage, but he was forced on the back foot by heavy strikes. Superbon then authored the finishing sequence when Nattawut committed to a combination, only to get dropped by a sneaky counter elbow from close quarters.
Despite Nattawut’s efforts to regain his composure, he was unable to return to his feet and Superbon was awarded the knockout victory. In the co-main event, Kiamran Nabati scored the biggest win of his career by defeating former ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai World Champion and current #3-ranked contender Nong-O Hama.
From the outset, Nabati proved to be a formidable challenge for the Thai legend. The rising Russian star showcased his agility and precision, delivering sharp punching combinations and even staggering Nong-O with a check hook late in the first round.
Nong-O showed incredible resilience and fought back valiantly, but Nabati stood his ground and turned up the pressure in the second half of the fight. In the end, Nabati landed the cleaner, harder shots and did enough to earn a unanimous decision win on the judges’ scorecards.
