Awad finishes Andrews in the first round at Bellator 259

Saad Awad (24-13-0) put an end to five losses in a row with a triumphant first-round TKO victory over Nate Andrews at Bellator 259. The 37-year-old warrior with his roots in Palestine didn’t hold back once the bout started. He went full steam ahead surprising Andrews with a series of strikes that caught his opponent off guard.

Soon after the win, Awad dedicated his hard-fought victory to those in Palestine suffering from the outbreak of violence. He is currently training at the formidable Fortis MMA under coach Sayif (Saud). Fortis MMA is also home to promising and upcoming talent including Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady, JP Buys, Matt Schnell, and more.

Awad is among the growing line up of Palestinian fighters in the global MMA lineup. On occasion of his win at Bellator MMA, the star from Palestine also celebrated yet another milestone of crossing 10k followers in his instagram profile.
