Saudi Fighting Championship Proves Big Success

Saudi’s premiere MMA league, Saudi Fighting Championship “SFC” produced a stunning showcase of amateur competition in the city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The fight night was a monumental success which saw more than 400 enthusiasts head from all around the kingdom to come and watch the exciting talents. Saudi Fighting Championship could be the beginning of what might promise to bring the thirsty MMA fans Saudi Arabia a great deal of thrilling MMA action.

SFC’s first night took place last Friday, February the 17th at Sport’s Tech Gym Jeddah and featured 14 fights. Athletes from 7 different gyms across the Kingdom participated including Sport’s Tech Jeddah, Spider Team Jeddah, MMA Jeddah, Mokatil Team Jeddah.
Bwell Gym Jeddah, Al Noor Gym Taif, Platinum Fighter Riyadh, KTG Gym Makkah, and Panorama Gym Al Qunfudhah.

Founders Ahmed Makki and Mohammad Najjar said:

“SFC’s first night night was a triumph for the Saudi MMA scene. We are definitely looking to host SFC competitions with professional fights on the card, and we plan to sign international fighters in the near future.”

Following this remarkable night, the organizers thanked the General Authority of Youth & Sports Welfare for their support. They also expressed their appreciation to all the teams who competed from Jeddah and those who flew all the way to Jeddah to compete in this event for the love of the game.
