The highlight of the second round was Duque’s takedown, which led him to establish a top position. Mezhulmyan was able to escape this predicament.
In the third and final round, the Armenian went on offense with his strikes and kicks. He even scored a takedown of his own. After the final bell, he was declared the winner.
This victory put Mezhulmyan in title contention. UAE Warriors lightweight champion was present at the event. Bruno Machado watched the bout from the stands. It’s worth noticing that both Khabib Nurmagomedov and Renzo Gracie also were in attendance.
Amir Fazli knocked out Mohamad Osseili in UAE Warriors 34 headliner
‘The Prince’ delivered a huge upset win by knocking out Osseili in just 22 seconds of the first round. The Iranian delivered a quick right hook and left jab combination, which sent Osseili to the canvas. This was the Lebanon fighter’s first loss as Fazli ended his five-fight winning streak.
Hussein Salem stopped Arlan Faurillo
The Iraqi fighter presented his wrestling prowess by defending two takedown attempts from his opponent. Thanks to the first sprawl he was able to push back Faurillo to the fence.
