In the featured bout Mohammad Yahya will take on Souhil Tahiri in an Arabia lightweight title fight. Arabia flyweight titleholder Nawraz Abzakh will make his first title defense against Jonny Touma. It will air on the UFC Fight Pass streaming platform.
UAE Warriors Arabia lightweight title fight
The reigning champion sports an 11 – 3 MMA record and rides a four-fight winning streak. He won the championship gold by knocking out Yazid Chouchane at UAE Warriors 21. The Arab fighter successfully defended his title back in march, when he submitted Moha Jaghdal. A Desert Force and Bellator alumni has seven finishes to his name. He suffered sole TKO loss and was submitted twice.
Tahiri stacked up a 5 – 3 – 1 record and won three out of his last five fights. The Algerian fighter secured three submission wins and two TKO finishes.
UAE Warriors Arabia flyweight title fight
Looking to defend his title, Abzakh will enter a cage riding a three-fight winning streak. The Jordan fighter has a 10 – 4. Half of his wins came by the way of submission. He has the sole TKO win to his name.
Touma is less experienced than his opponent and has only a 5 – 1 professional MMA record. Lebanon secured two submission wins.
