The lineup is official for UAE Warriors 59, and the Arabia vs. Africa series returns with a stacked card on June 12 at Space42 Arena in Abu Dhabi.
Headlining the night is a bantamweight clash between former IMMAF champion Abdul Hussein (12-2) and Algeria’s Sami Yahia (13-5). Hussein, who’s riding a five-fight win streak, returns to UAE Warriors following a slick bulldog choke finish at UAEW 58 in February. Yahia, known for his grit and versatility, will be looking to spoil the momentum and cement his place in the division.
In the co-main event, DWCS veteran Islem Masraf (3-1) of Algeria steps in to face South Africa’s Diego Bandu (5-2) in a middleweight showdown between two of the continent’s most dangerous finishers. Masraf most recently picked up a first-round submission win over Wisem Hammami and is eyeing a title shot with another statement victory.
Also featured is the return of former UAE Warriors Arabia welterweight champion Omran Chaaban (7-1), who went 1-1 during his stint on Dana White’s Contender Series before rebounding with a dominant performance at CAGE 65 earlier this year. Chaaban takes on Congo’s Gunther Kalunda Ngunza (7-5) in what’s expected to be a high-paced welterweight matchup.
The event is promoted by Palms Sports and supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. It will stream live on Abu Dhabi Sports TV.
