Action-packed night set for Riyadh as UFC Fight Night heads to The Venue

UFC Saudi Arabia

Dubai, UAE – November 18, 2024: UFC is bringing the heat back to Saudi Arabia with a highly anticipated event set for Saturday, February 1 at The Venue, Riyadh. The promotion has partnered with the Kingdom’s General Entertainment Authority (GEA) to make this another unforgettable night for fight fans in Riyadh.

Tickets for UFC Fight Night Riyadh will go on sale Friday, January 3, via Webook. Fight fans can expect an electrifying card, with several of the sport’s top athletes set to battle it out in the Octagon® – though the full lineup has yet to be revealed.

This marks UFC’s second event in the Saudi capital, following the success of its debut in June 2024 at Riyadh’s Kingdom Arena. That event featured a standout main event where Robert Whittaker claimed victory over undefeated rising star Ikram Aliskerov in an exciting middleweight showdown.

UFC Fight Night Riyadh will be part of the iconic Riyadh Season, Saudi Arabia’s flagship entertainment festival that attracts thousands of visitors annually. Known for its mix of concerts, sports, and cultural events, Riyadh Season is quickly becoming one of the world’s biggest winter festivals. UFC has a long-standing relationship with Riyadh Season, having partnered with them for UFC 306, held at Sphere in Las Vegas – which went down in history as the highest-grossing UFC event ever.

This event will mark the UFC’s first time hosting at The Venue, a state-of-the-art arena designed to deliver an unforgettable fan experience with top-tier audiovisual technology, flexible staging, and superior sound quality. The Venue is quickly establishing itself as Riyadh’s go-to venue for world-class events.
