So what’s next for Saffiedine?!
The main event between Tarec Saffiedine and Hyun Gyu Lim was an absolute striking clinic as Saffiedine outstruck the bigger, more powerful man with ease!
From a completely selfish standpoint I’d love to see him against the other strikers of the division. A standup War with Robbie Lawler could be one of the best fights to ever happen in the Welterweight division. Lawler who loves to trade punches will come in as the bigger fighter and surely put Saffiedine in Danger!
But from originally being offered to fight Carlos Condit in his debut to multiple opponent changes occurring later, Saffiedine the man won the Strikeforce belt should not fight another mid-tier talent. Carlos Condit will already be facing Tyrone Woodley in his next appearance but that would be a good match. Depending on this fights result, Saffiedine can face the winner be it this or that. A rematch with Woodley is surely on Tarec’s mind so WHY NOT!!! Perhaps even Rory MacDonald, it would be interesting to see if MacDonald’s jab and wrestling alone could combat Saffiedine’s excellent all around game on the feet.
The sky is the limit for UFC new comer Tarec Saffiedine after proving that he belongs in the Octagon! So let’s wait and see what Dana White has cooked for the Lebanese/Belgian destroyer!
