A much celebrated card at EFC Evolution was headlined by Mohamed Ali “Felx” Vs Mohamed Abdel Azim, with Ali dominating the fight and ending with a TKO in the second.
That night had lots of promises and it did deliver, with very few fights going to decisions. The card gave us heads up on a lot of up and coming Egyptian talents and welcomed a new, heavily restructured promotion that has potential to shine.
Knockout of the night had Abdel Fatah Toha’s name all over it. He managed to finish the debutant Albanna with a devastating head kick, knocking him out cold in the first round.
Toha dictated the pace on the feet using his height advantage to ruthlessly knockout Al banna in his MMA debut. That will be something that will be talked about for a long time. A beautiful head kick gives Toha his 5th professional win delivering a massive statement to all the Arab flyweights.
Inside information leaked to ArabsMMA states that Toha came in to this fight overweight, with almost 2 divisions above his weight class. Toha then made a 5-6 kilo’s weight cut which doesn’t seem very reasonable in such a short time.
More about this issue will be published, as we talk to Tiger Muay Thai headcoach and Al Banna himself about this incident.
