Abdulkareem Al Selwady fights for more than a victory in Bahrain

Brave Combat Federation lightweight contender, Abdulkareem Al Selwady, has announced that he aims to represent the hopes and dreams of the Palestinian community through sports. Nicknamed as the ‘Pride of Palestine’, Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady is one of the most popular fighters in the Middle East. Al Selwady revealed that he was influenced by the struggles and resilience of the Arab community and especially the years of resilience by the Palestinian community.

Al Selwady represented the humanitarian issues of Palestine throughout his career, always walking in with pride, carrying Palestine on his shoulders. The lightweight fighter with seven victories out of his eight appearances is one of the few fighters who remains undefeated in Brave roaster. He is one among the top contenders in the lightweight division after earning remarkable victories against Rami Aziz (Brave 1: The Beginning) and Michael Diega-Scheck at Brave 4 in Abu Dhabi.

What I represent through sports is the voice of the Arab community and when each fan of my fans support me unconditionally, it is impossible for me to think anything other than victory.”, said an emotional Abdulkareem.

He will be in action against Erick Da Silva from Brazil. Erick has a professional record of 21 wins and 4 losses and is one of the best prospects from Brazil. The bout will take place at Brave 9: The Kingdom of champions held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa at Khalifa Sports City on November 17.
